The 'Gaia' in Xiangti Avenue Plaza in Xinyi District of Taipei City appeared the big 7 meter floating Earth, the glistening Earth specially at night made the passing people to stop and burst into amezement and stuned while others praise it as a beautiful sight.
The 7-meter floating Earth "Gaia" was created by British artist Luke Jerram. It has been currently exhibited in Hsinchu and in Hong Kong at the beginning of this year. It is now seen at Xinyi district in Taipei in between Shinkong Mitsukoshi Plaza A9 and A11 building.
It is a 10minute walk from Taipei 101 and Taipei Nan Shan Plaza or at the Taipei City Hall. The floating Earth will be seen in the district on July 22 onwards.
Gaia has been an instant photo opportunity when it exhibited in Hsinchu and Hong Kong. Floating day and night, people still find a way to pose and have those photos shared in different social media sites like IG, Facebook, Twitter and others.
This is the Discovery channel to commemorate the 50th anniversary of human landing on the moon. The exhibit for Gaia will last until August 18 take the oppprtunity and visit it in capital Taipei which is best seen at night. (Photo source: UDN)
