The Southern National Palace Museum located in Chiayi offers a free outdoor night 3D water curtain projection show and will only on display until September 1, 2019. This event is free in all of the weekends of the summer in Taiwan.
Visit the fountain curtain on weekends, try to visit the Southern National Palace Museum before watching the free show. The dazzling light water dance show is like a 3D water curtain projection lighting the summer night.
The free show lasts until September 1, also seen on national holidays. Anyone is free to visit and watch the show, there are even shuttle buses in the park which are also free to ride.
The Southern National Palace originally closes at 05:00pm but extends it until 06:00pm for the summer and the water fountain light show starts at 06:30pm. The night water dance show is every half an hour in the evening.
The free show is seen at the landscape lake area, there will be a collaboration of music and water dance. On the water curtain, there js a features story, a treasure map and feature of some cities.
The Southern National Palace Museum (故宮南院) light show is located at No. 888, Southern National Palace Avenue, Guagong Boulevard, Taibao City, Chiayi County (Address in Chinese: 612嘉義縣太保市故宮大道888號) and the event is totally free.
