Eslite opened its first ever bookstore in 1989 in Taiwanand has since expanded to 48 branches throughout the country.
It is a well-known bookstore that has more than a dozen locations in Taipei and carries a wide-range of English materials and the bookstore also hasas a section for stationary and gifts.
Some locations also have a café where visitors can sip a hot drink while they read.
