Jiufen and Jinguashi areas have many secret spots which are located in Northern Taiwan. In addition to visiting Jiufen Old Street or the Golden Waterfalls of Jinguashi, there is a super beautiful mountain with seascape trails called teapot mountains.
The physical consumption of the Teapot Mountain trail is good for hikers. Trekking up in the mountains showing the sights that are the vast in beauty of the mountains and the sea.
The teapot mountain is about 600 meters above sea level and is named after a teapot that is shaped like a handle. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the scenery of Yinyanghai, Pacific Ocean and Jilong Mountain.
It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to climb to the top of the mountain. Although it is mostly stone steps, it is necessary to pay attention to the your physical health.
The trail is divided into three sections. The first section is the Yijitang parking lot to Chaobaoting. The second section is from Chaobaoting along the road to the top of the mountain trail. It is about 500 meters. The last section is the trail leading to the top of the teapot. If you are riding a bicycle or driving, you can go directly to the parking lot at the top of the mountain trail, and the journey will be much easier.
From time to time, there are migratory grasses swaying in the wind. Your fatigue of climbing can be eased due to the wonderf seascape. There is a viewing platform and a pavilion in the middle to take a break. When you reach the top of the mountain, you may still see the clouds drifting between the valleys.
