Tickets for the 53 sports in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games will now be given for free, according to the event organizers.
Phisgoc chair and House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano announced that upon President Rodrigo Duterte’s order to open venues to the public which includes 10,000 tickets for the closing ceremony will be given for free.
All sporting events will also be free for the public except for Basketball, Volleyball and Football along with non-ticketed events. Venues of the said events are the Mall of Asia Arena, PhilSports Arena, the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium, and the Binan Football Stadium, respectively.
Additionally, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte ordered the PHISGOC to provide 10,000 free tickets out of the 20,000 seats for the closing ceremonies at the Athletics Stadium in New Clark City on December 11. Phisgoc will release the mechanics on how and where people can get tickets. (Photo ABS CBN)
