The total number of people who died in the series of earthquakes in Mindanao has reached 16 according to the data of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Three came from Region XI while the 13 came from Region XII.
NDRRMC identified the 14:
Jessie Riel Parba, Benita B. Saban, Romulo Naraga from Davao del Sur, Nestor Narciso from South Cotabato, Samuel Linao Andy, Renee Corpuz, Marichelle Morla, Patricio Lumayon, Pao Zailon Abdulah, Isidro Gomez, Cesar Bangot, Romel Galicia, Precilla Verona, Juve Gabriel Jauod from Cotabato
Two more individuals from Region XI are stil missing. The number of wounded individuals has reached 403, data showed by NDRRMC.
There were three strong earthquakes had hit Mindanao region this October. PHIVOLCS warned that the region may still experience an earthquake of same magnitude until the end of the year.
