Police will start arresting anyone who are uaing vape in public places following the order of President Rodrigo Duterte that was announced Tuesday night.
Apart from the ban vaping or use of e-cigarettes in public places, the ban also covers from importing them.
In a statement byPhilippine National Police (PNP) Spokesperson Bernard Banac, he said that PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa has ordered all police officers across the country to enforce the ban on vape use in public places.
All violators will be arrested and will be confiscated. Police will contact local government units and other agencies for the dispatch of confiscated vapes.
The PNP office in Camp Crame, Quezon City, and other PNP offices have also been declared "no vape zone".
The Department of Health is looking forward for President Duterte to sign the executive order for a complete ban on vape.
