A pre-election survey shows that Visayas and Mindanao voters preferred current Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio and her father President Rodrigo Duterte as candidates for president and vice president in 2022, Manila Times reported.
“I’m not surprised. That has been done before in the City of Davao when both of them ran as mayor and vice mayor,” Panelo said in a Palace briefing.
“If you speak of possibilities, then it’s limitless. Puwede lahat ‘yan (Anything is possible),” added by Panelo.
Results of the survey showed that 35 percent of the respondents selected Sara Duterte-Carpio as top on a list of 21 potential presidential candidates.
