The first snow of the winter in Taiwan is seen today (Dec 6) and shared on social media as snow is seen falling at Xueshan, the second highest peak behind Yushan.
Xueshan is located at Heping District of Taichung. It is the 2nd-highest mountain in Taiwan and in East Asia, at 3,886 m above sea level.
Snow falling was reported from Xueshan's Sanliujiu Lodge at 01:48 early morning and by 09:00 mountaineers on the Facebook page Bunun Mountain reported seeing snowfall on the mountain.
