An online petition is on the rise to bring back Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to its original name of Manila International Airport (MIA).
"Ninoy Aquino is not a hero/patriot for inspiration and emulation of this generation and generations still unborn. He was clearly a POLITICIAN and by naming the Philippine’s main airport to his name is an insult to all Filipino heroes who died for the country,” according to Roy Domingo who started the petition online thru Change.org.

ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of naming it to the person who died there? DID he bestow any forms of kindness and solitude of the people's misery in that airport? Anyways, you can just remember him who died on that airport, but why change to its specific name than the place? It's very communistic!
