Two female Vietnamese migrant workers in Nantou County were hot bu truck while riding an electric bike or electric scooter, one died according to local police.
The accident occurred when the scooter of the migrant workers collided with a truck on a road in Caotun Township, police said in a report by Central News Agency.
It still under investigation on who may have been at fault. The two Vietnamese are off for a shopping dayoff but the incident happened according to police.
The 23-year-old worker who was driving the electric bike was fatally hit on the head while the other sustained injuries. Both were rushed to the hospital but only one survived the collision.
