Taiwan now lists four parients that were positive and confirmed cases of the new type coronovirus and all of them are under quarantine.
Recently, a Taiwanese woman who had recently been to the Chinese city of Wuhan was diagnosed Sunday (Jan 26th) with the 2019 novel coronavirus.
According to the Central Epidemic Command Center, there were 350 suspected cases of the new type of coronavirus had been reported in Taiwan though 147 of those were ruled out.
People arriving in Taiwan who have recently been to Hubei where Wuhan is the capital will be subjected to compulsory home isolation for 14 days.
Taiwan's CDC raised its travel advisory for Wuhan from a Level 2 alert to the highest Level 3 alert. A Level 3 alert urges people to avoid unnecessary travel to the destination.
