Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen China's proposal to unify with Taiwan under the "one country, two systems" will remain rejected.
The Taiwanese people supports the Tsai administration by refusing to submit to communist China. The offer is to implement like Hong Kong unification mode which led to a disastrous political issue in Hong Kong.
"Hong Kong's people have shown us that 'one country, two systems' is definitely not feasible" according to Tsai.
China has tried to used "diplomatic offensives, military coercion, interference, and infiltration" with the objective of "forcing Taiwan to compromise our sovereignty," according to Tsai in her speech last New Year.
Tsai called on all Taiwanese people and political parties to form a consensus based on these understandings to create an "immense force that will allow the Republic of China to stand tall in the international community."
