Consulting firm Deloitte Philippines in Taguig confirmed that one of its employees has tested positive for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a statement Saturday, Deloitte Philippines said that: “We confirm that a colleague in our Deloitte Philippines office has tested positive for COVID-19."
“The colleague is currently in hospital receiving treatment and further tests, and Deloitte is supporting the colleague and family in every way we can,” Deloitte said.
The company said it continues to comply with the instructions and directions from the DOH.
Deloitte Philippines said all those who were in contact with the employee who tested positive have been informed about the situation and has been scheduled for “appropriate checks.”
“All necessary actions were promptly taken to inform those who might have come into contact with the colleague for the appropriate checks and provide any possible form of support,” Deloitte said.
The BPO firm offers financial advisory, management consultancy and other business solutions, is based in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
