Canada and Malaysia step up their fight over coronavirus as both countries closed their borders.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the federal government is taking “increasingly aggressive steps to keep Canadians safe” by denying entry to anyone who is not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, with some exceptions, including diplomats, air crews, and immediate family of citizens, and U.S. citizens.

There were 324 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canada, and 17 probable cases.
Malaysia will be under a nationwide movement control order from this Wednesday (March 18) until March 31 due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The total number of positive cases of coronavirus in Malaysia is at 553, with 42 having since been declared free of Covid-19 and discharged.
Travel reatrictions for both countries will be restricted
