The government of China will willingly send help to the Philippines to help fight the pandemic COVID 19.
In a tweet on Sunday, the China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said that the country has already talked to the Philippines through the Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.
“We feel the same as the Philippine people are going through difficult times. We will do our utmost to help. Medical supplies and experts will soon go to the Philippines,” the spokesperson said.
in a Conference in Malacanang on March 9, President Rodrigo Duterte said that he received a letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping assuring him of China’s readiness to help the Philippines’ fight against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID 19 cases in the Philippines as of Sunday climbed to 140 as declared by the Department of Health.
