Due to corona virus outbreak, many false information have been circulating online. The World Health Organization (WHO) itself said that spraying alcohol all over your body won't kill the virus that has entered your system neither drinking alcoholic beverages.
According to the global health agency, spraying such substances can be harmful to clothes or eyes and mouth.
"Be aware that both alcohol and chlorine can be useful to disinfect surfaces, but they need to be used under appropriate recommendations," the WHO said.
Additionally, the organization asserted that proper hand hygiene such as hand washing is still the best way to protect oneself from the corona virus.
The misinformation started when the letter uploaded in the internet from St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, USA gone viral.
