The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) consisting of 11 Filipino-Chinese Organizations will give P100 million worth of medical supplies including testing kits and other paraphernalia needed by the DOH.
Aside from this, FFCCCII said that they will also be coordinating with the Chinese Embassy to send additional medical supplies, topnotch doctors and personnel expert in handling COVID 19 to augment Filipino medical doctors and personnel.
The organization also called its members to advance the grant of 13th month pay to their employees to cope with the pandemic.
"Through this, we hope to help our hardworking and noble health authorities and health personnel...," FFCCCII president Henry Lim Bon Liong said in a press conference in Quezon City.
Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines rose to 142 after the DOH confirmed two new cases on Monday.
