Jollibee Foods Corp. will donate P100 million worth of food products from its brands to health workers and on-ground checkpoint personnel amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Filipino-owned global food company said in a statement that “The frontliners will be receiving food packs from Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon, Greenwich, Burger King, Panda Express and PHO24,” .

Jollibee said it has been coordinating with private groups and public agencies for an efficient distribution to those in the frontlines. CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong said “The Jollibee Group is one with them in this fight and we hope that through our food, we can fuel their heroic efforts,”.
The Philippines has been placed under a state of calamity while the main northern island of Luzon is on a month-long lockdown as government hoped to contain the virus.
