Taipei local governemtn gave a maximum NT$1 million fine to a man who was found to have broken his quarantine measures of Taiwan said Deputy Mayor Huang Shan-shan.

According tk the mayor, the man came from the Chinese city of Xiamen and also did mot fill up the mandatory health declaration form.
He was taken to one of the quarantine hotels in the city but bu checking the next day, was no longer staying at the hotel room. He was stopped at Kaohsiung International Airport later in the day as he attempted to leave the country.
Passengers arriving from countries that have severe coronavirus including China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Iran, and Italy are for mandatory 14-day quarantine.
