Two men from Taiwan's Nantou County have been caught violating home quarantine rule of the country as the two men were penalized for breaching the safety act.

The man claims that he was not notified of the need to isolate himself at home. Officials have held off on issuing fines while they investigate the man's claims.

Authorities said Nantou has seen 629 cases of home quarantine with 517 having completed the required two-week isolation period.
