82 more COVID-19 patients recovered in PH, total recoveries now at 435
The Philippines now reached 435 total recoveries as 82 more patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease, the Department of Health (DOH) announced on Thursday (April 16).
The country's health department has also said that the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases has breached to 5,660 after 207 new cases have been recorded.
Today's bulletin also include 13 new fatalities due to COVID-19 raising the death toll to 362. Nevertheless, the country now has more number of recoveries than deaths.
In a televised briefing, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that the country's total number of recoveries now include recovered patients confined in hospitals and patients who have tested positive and asymptomatic undergoing self-isolation.
