PH loses another frontliner in fight of COVID-19
Dr. Mary Grace Lim, a frontliner at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center’s Emergency Room has passed away, the hospital announced on Monday.
The hospital honored Dr. Mary Grace Lim as someone “who willingly risked her life to help save others.”
Families of Lim's former patients grieve her death, as they shared on the hospital's post how Lim was “thorough, kind and calm” when she attended to their children at the emergency room.
In total, Philippine Medical Association has recorded 17 doctors who have died while in the frontline battling COVID-19, afflicting the deaths to lack of personal protective equipment.
Earlier, it was announced that Philippines will begin producing 10,000 coveralls daily after Holy Week in partnership with member-companies of the Confederation of Wearable Exporters of the Philippines to ensure there is enough gear to protect medical frontliners.
