Philippines' COVID-19 death toll raises to 136, total cases swells to 3,018
The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday (April 3) reports 29 additional deaths, and 385 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the country's total to 3,018.
The country's death toll now leads to 136 as of 4pm and the youngest among the fatalities is the seven-year-old girl from Pangasinan.
DOH also announced one newly recovered COVID-19 patient raising a total of 52 recoveries.
As of Thursday, 1,275 people have tested negative for COVID-19, while there are 1,154 persons under investigation (PUI) and 6,321 others under monitoring for possible infection.
