Taiwan adds 10 new COVID-19 patients, total is 339 cases
Taiwan's Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) on Thursday (April 2) announced 10 more confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 339.
According to CECC, eight of the new patients were imported cases, while two were the result of domestic infections, the total also included five deaths and 50 patients who had been dismissed from hospital.
One of the domestic cases, No. 335, was a man in his 50s who had been in contact with patient No. 291 and who suffered from diarrhea before seeking medical treatment.
The other domestic case, No. 336, was a woman in her 40s who worked as a security guard in her community and had no history of foreign travel.
The working place of No.336 on the other hand,had been disinfected, as stated by the CECC in a news conference.
