Taiwan counts 10 new cases of COVID-19, total now at 373


The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced today (April 6) that there are 10 new confirmed cases of new coronavirus in Taiwan. Total cases now at 373.


Among them is one local case is the grandson of case 364 and the other 9 came from overseas announced by Health Minister and CECC head Chen Shih-chung.

The command center reminded again the public that everyone should do hand hygiene and cough / sneezing etiquette.


When entering the country from abroad, if you have fever, cough or any other uncomfortable symptoms, you should take the initiative to notify the airport quarantine personnel and cooperate with  the epidemic prevention measures.

After returning home, you should implement 14-day home quarantine. The city care center, and follow the instructions to seek medical treatment, do not take public transportation and be sure to inform the doctor of travel history, occupation, contact history and other important information.
