90 more COVID-19 patients recovered in PH, total recoveries jumps at 1,214
The Department of Health on Sunday (May 3), announced 90 more patients who have recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total recoveries to 1,214.
The agency also reported 9,223 cases of COVID-19 as 295 more individuals have been infected. Meanwhile, only four new fatalities have been recorded raising the death toll to 607.
As of Friday, data from DOH show that 103,417 people have been tested for COVID-19 in the country, 89.1 percent tested negative while 10.7 percent were positive.
As other areas lift their enhance community quarantine to general community quarantine, authorities are still urging the public to practice social distancing, regular handwashing and sneezing and coughing etiquette.
