Graduation ceremonies in Taiwan’s Keelung will continue as usual as the pandemic in the country is under control. Graduation is a very important for the memories of graduating students according to Keelung Mayor Lin Yu-chang, CNA reported.
COVID-19 pandemic had halted several graduation rights and cause big problem for schools in all countries. Keelung in northern Taiwan has only 7 COVID-19 patients with 6 already recovered, also 144 people who are currently quarantined at home have shown no symptoms of the disease.

The mayor added that trips for school will also allowed as these activities are important especially for those graduating students. The mayor encouraged the schools for full communications with guidelines under Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
Lin recommended that they must properly control the number of attendees for the purpose of epidemic prevention. The school will decide if parents and spectators are allowed to attend the ceremonies.
