Japan points at Taiwan after Japanese student tested positive of COVID-19
Taiwan's Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) confirmed that a Japanese student tested positive for COVID-19 after the student returns to Japan that came from southern Taiwan.
The Japanese student in her 20's tested positive with COVID-19 after being screened at the airport in Japan as discussed by CECC head Chen Shih-chung, Taiwan News reported.
Japan points at Taiwan of the situation of the COVID-19 situation of the Japanese student. Chen explained that she was asymptomatic and is not yet considered a confirmed case in Taiwan.
Taiwan is in contact with Japanese officials to determine whether the test result was a false positive, the report added.
