The Ministry of Health and Welfare has officially introduced the website that aims to share Taiwan's successful policies that have been implemented to fight  coronavirus pandemic, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), Sunday (June 7).

CECC administration department chief Cheng Shun-ping, said at a daily press briefing, the website entitled as "Taiwan Crucial Policy for Combating COVID-19," provides information about the major developments and policies that Taiwan has since Dec. 31, 2019, when the battle against coronavirus began.

According to Cheng, the new website can give detailed information regarding Taiwan's universal healthcare system, which is believed to be one of the main factors in the country's successful coronavirus prevention efforts.

Cheng added, the site also presents  a record of Taiwan's border restrictions and policies in relation to the supply and sale of surgical face masks.

The official clarified that people in other countries can view the website, which has an English and Chinese interface. Visitors can also see the information in 10 other languages, including Filipino, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai, by using the translate function on their browsers.
