Brazil reports new 20,257 COVID-19 Cases; death toll now at 80,000
The Health Ministry of Brazil announced on Monday (July 20), that the country has registered 20,257 new confirmed cases of the COVID-19 with a death toll up to 80,000.
Brazil which comes as the world's second most affected country by the pandemic after the United States, has now 2,118,646 total number of COVID-19 cases with 80,120 fatalities after the additional 632 newly-recorded deaths yesterday.
Meanhwile, more than 14.61 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally.
Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
