DSWD, kinilala bilang 'most responsive agency' sa bansa sa gitna ng pandemya
Hinirang ng People’s Television Network sa programa nitong “Digong 8888 Hotline” ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) bilang "most responsive government agency" sa gitna ng tumitinding pandemya sa bansa.
“DSWD was recognized for keeping its line open to accommodate interviews that responded to and resolved complaints and requests for assistance from clients,” ayon sa inilabas ng pahayag ng People’s Television Network noong Martes ng gabi (Agosto 4).
Tinanggap ni DSWD Undersecretary Danilo G. Pamonag sa isang simpleng awarding ceremony noong Hulyo 29 sa DSWD Central Office, ang plague of appreciation mula kina Digong 8888 Hotline Producer John Louise Osuyos at Associate Producer Adrien Matienzo.
“The Department is grateful for the recognition from Digong 8888 Hotline and will continue to strive hard in bringing the government even closer to the people,” sabi ni Pamonag.
Noong Hunyo 30, ayon sa DSWD, aabot 11,708 na reklamo ang nasolusyunan nila mula sa 8888 Citizen’s Complaint Center na ginawa sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 6 na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong Oktubre 14, 2016.
