To help the students struggling with their academics and on their home, a teacher from Malaysia opted to give and deliver foods to her students and their families using her own money.
Maisarah Hannan, a school counselor of St. Cecilia’s Convent Secondary School in Sandakan, Malaysia, is receiving a lot of concerns from the students not only about their online studies but also with their food supply at home.
With these, she decided to buy groceries to feed the students and their families who have no food to eat.
Maisarah would most of the time deliver goods to squatter areas and far-flung villages to reach the students in need of her help.
With her initiative, many teachers and other individuals are willing to support her advocacy to help more struggling students.
