Filipinos who want to obtain a degree or learn Mandarin Chinese language in Taiwan can now start applying for various scholarship programs this 2021 according to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines.
In a press released on Monday (January 14), TECO said Taiwan's Ministry of Education (MOE) will be opening more slots for qualified Filipinos who wish to study in Taiwan because of the "huge demand and positive response from Filipino students in past years."
"These scholarships are intended for Filipinos who wish to pursue degree studies in Taiwan (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Degrees) or for those who would like to learn Mandarin Chinese in the Republic of China (Taiwan)," TECO said.
Filipinos can now submit their application and requirements in TECO for any one scholarship program offered including Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship, Huayu (Mandarin) Enrichment Scholarship, and Internation Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF).
For more information, applicants can visit the Study in Taiwan section in the official website of TECO in the Philippines at philippines@mail.moe.gov.tw.
