A man used the social media to call for the attention of Raffy Tulfo in Action (RTIA), a Philippine TV program known for giving assistance, in order to help his girlfriend who is currently working in Boradha, Saudi Arabia.
In a Facebook post shared last March 9, 2021, Mj D Dtorre pleaded to Raffy Tulfo, host of RTIA, to help his girlfriend go back in the Philippines because of the maltreatment that she is suffering from her employer.
According to Dtorre, the employer "uses" his girlfriend and prohibits her from flying back in the country. He also confiscates the phone of the OFW and opts not to give her salary.
Dtorre added that his girlfriend is doing any kind of work for his employer for six years already. She fixes light bulbs and broken things inside the home of her employer even if these are not part of her job description.
"Sir Raffy Tulfo ako po ay humihingi ng tulong sayo sir yung girlfriend ko ngayon nasa Saudi sa Boriadha palagi po siya ginagamit ng amo niya at ayaw pauwiin dito sa Pilipinas Kahit 6-years na siya nagtatrabaho dun sir sana po matulungan.,"
With this netizens became eager to share the Facebook post of Dtorre to reach Tulfo. As of the moment, the said post already garnered 11,000 reactions, 7,700 comments and 42,000 shares.
