and his friend in Laguna during anti-illegal drug operation, with the child's
family stating he was shot while restrained and the police claiming he
exchanged fire with arresting policemen.

Barangay Canlalay. According to Trixie, Johndy was handcuffed and carried into
a muddy location before being killed by officers. he was asking the officers
not to shoot him while lying face down, the officers also forcibly dunked the
victim's face in the dirt.
The victim and his friend Antonio Dalit, according to the
official report from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Calabarzon, were
slain after they reportedly traded gunfire with the officers. When the alleged
meeting occurred, Laguna police intelligence agents were serving a warrant of
arrest on Dalit, according with PNP Calabarzon.
