A female overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Taiwan allegely illegaly terminated from the company after accusing its coordinator of peeping in her bed while asleep in her sleep wear or voyeurism.
OFW advocate Manny Geslani relayed the information to the company which the photo was uploaded to the social media, Inquirer reported.
The next day, the OFW said that she was called to the office of the company manager, which then informed her that her contract was terminated. Her employer, Catcher Technology Inc., located at Taiwan’s Yukang District in Tainan County, dismissed her.
The coordinator was identified as Jayson Suarez Rima who peep aside the curtain on her bed while in her nightwear, Philstar reported.
She was forced to leave the company because the employer is on the side of the offending coordinator.
The OFW is seeking justice with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
