ASE in Taiwan to fill over 2,000 new jobs for its Kaohsiung site

ASE Technology Holding Co., world’s largest IC packaging and testing services provider is planning to hire more than 2,000 workers by the end of the year as the firm continues to expand production.

The massive recruitment campaign for its Kaohsiung production base to attract workers in the southern city who are interested in the semiconductor industry.

ASE is seeking for engineers, management trainees and production assistants or production operators.

ASE said that it is holding walk-in interviews at its K10 plant. Kaohsiung has become one of the most important semiconductor hubs.

ASE-owned Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc approved a plan to build a flip-chip packaging and testing plant in the city.

Construction at the new plant is scheduled to be completed by the end of the third quarter next year.
