Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) announced that the quarantine facilities for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who go home to the Philippines are now at critical level.
There are already 12,500 OFWs in 200 quarantine facilities who were expected to celebrate the holidays.
It is estimated that another 50,000 to 60,000 OFWs will return home, OWWA said.
According to the agency, a quarantine facility is already in use in CALABARZON and some five-star hotels are also in use.
OWWA continues to search for more quarantine facilities.
