In compliance with the new law of SIM Registration Act in the Philippines, anyone using a Philippine SIM card will be required to register.
Registration for the telecoms Smart, Globe, and DITO subscribers can be done online and for free.

-Present / Official Address (for DITO subscribers)
-A declaration that the ID presented is true and correct (for Globe subscribers)
For corporations, the requirements are:
-SEC Certificate of Registration
-Board Resolution designating the authorized representative and, in the case of other juridical entities, a Special Power of Attorney.
For tourists, the requirements are:
-Passport
-Proof of address in the Philippines
-Return ticket to own country showing date/time of departure from the Philippines

-Government Service Insurance System e-Card
-Driver’s license
-National Bureau of Investigation clearance
-Police clearance
-Firearms’ License to Own and Possess ID

Minors will have their SIM cards placed under their parent or guardian's name. They must present an ID including that of the minor's parent or guardian.
Subscribers will have 180 days from the effectivity of the law to register their SIM cards. The registration may be extended by up to 120 days.
